The Awakened Order's Scavenger Contest Details.

Will be held off until precisely 12:01am Pacific Time Standard on Saturday, November 14th, 2009.

Why? Because all information regarding this scavenger hunt is purposely kept secretive for the sake of preserving the riddles, hiding spots, and all other markers that would otherwise give away where the actual hiding spot will be.

This post will be updated at 12:01am. There will be pre-scavenger hints hidden on GlobalTechAtlas.info - FEForums - TAOWiki and TAO Forums. I will not divulge as to where they will be hidden, meaning you will have to actually look for them. I will not be using the same screen name as I'm using now. So you'll really have to be diligent. Wink

There will also be a massive advertising campaign in game in the most frequented regions of S1, S2 And S3 so more people know to where to look for clues.

Times:

The 1st Scavenger Hunt Begins: Sunday, 4pm Pacific Time Standard (7pm EST)

The 2nd Scavenger Hunt Begins: Sunday, 6pm Pacific Time Standard (9pm EST)

The 3rd Scavenger Hunt Begins: Sunday, 8pm Pacific Time Standard (11pm EST)

How will we find you?:

A series of hints, riddles, mathematical questions and screenshots will be used to give players a clue as to where the person who will be hiding, is hiding. There will be three separate locations for each scavenger hunt. Locations will be randomized.

Hints will be hidden all over the Fallen Earth forum, the GlobalTechAtlas forum, the TAOWiki and the TAO Forums.

In fact. I won't tell you where... but the first hint is already up! (It's extremely well hidden... but also very obvious to find if you know which forum to look in for event information.)

The first person to win the first scavenger hunt will receive:

1 Convoy Buggy.

The first person to win the second scavenger hunt will receive:

1 Electric Motorocycle
25 Ragged Kevlar

The first person to to win the third scavenger hunt will receive:

1 Warlord Gear
10 Frayed Kevlar
